The Meeting of Young Actors was launched in 2016 in collaboration with the Art and Folk School of Sfântu Gheorghe and the Osonó Theatre Workshop. As part of the project “Basic Acting Knowledge Training,” included in the programs of the mentioned partners, we organize a two-day amateur theater festival that extends to other towns in the country. At our event on June 18-19, 2016, 8 amateur theater groups participated in Sfântu Gheorghe. The venue was the New Studio of the Tamási Áron Theatre, where each group presented a production of up to one hour. Our undisguised goal with these activities is to enhance the already existing cultural life of our county and city. The performances were open to the general public.
