The program “Dowry Chest,” created through the collaboration of Sláger Radio in Sfântu Gheorghe and the Sic-Art Association, supported by the NKA’s Halmos Béla program, aimed to familiarize and endear the audience with the vast musical treasure of Transylvania and Szeklerland. The radio-based folk song lessons, involving three permanent experts, spanned approximately 12 months. Under the coordination of folk singer Ildikó István, folk song education took place during the broadcast.
